My sweet baby has thrush, how I can do to eat?
Okay, so today we learned of my Sophie (6mo.) have canker of mouth. She is already small, and now is having the hardest time eating due to pain in the mouth. She gets nystatin, (this is the first day ..) and Tylenol child. I know you'll get better and better, but she refuses the bottle all together now … I called the advice nurse, and I'm waiting to hear back … Any Cortes advice is sure appreciated!
I am sorry for you …. Mine has thrush … twice, because it is difficult to eradicate completely when nursing maternal and just passed back and forth, but never seemed to hurt and she ate very well. nystatin worked well for us and very quickly (maybe two or three days before it was much less). Do prescribed 1 ml per day? This medicine works on contact, so the most efficient way is to use a Q-tip to spread gently everything in his mouth and tongue after each meal.
