what to fill it with cupcakes?
I decorate cakes for a party type situation 4th/5th July. I'm doing a lot of cakes and are becoming individuall decorated. i can not make the big cake with all of them together. What are some things I could fill them with? I know you can make jelly and freezing but what do you think that good taste? I love the cream inside dounguts but how would I do that? thanks again =]
What such a type of cream filled Twinkie? This can be completed in the cupcakes with a decorating tip over or called Bismark tip # 230, or you can use any single-point, as a large round or open star (# 12 or # 21, for example.) Only fill your piping bag with icing or filling, and insert the tip into the top of the madeleine. Low compression to fill, no more than filling. Then you can simply ice the tops of the cupcakes and sprinkle with colored sugar or patriotic Rain. I have not used this recipe for stuffed myself, and the messages come from the recipe, not me. However, I have heard others rave about the filling, by I've saved for future use. Twinkie 2TBlsp butter FILLING / 3 C Crisco 1 1 1 / 3 C powdered sugar 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1 / 4 – 1 / 3 cup evaporated milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 ** drops of lemon juice 1 tablespoons meringue powder * (optional) Mix the butter and lard. Gradually add sugar stirring constantly. Add liquids. Mix on medium speed until completely smooth and fluffy. You really need to use drops of lemon extract in moderation-only For a touch of lemon flavor is not overwhelmed powder can be added merengue b / c of the new Crisco having problems with the separation evap milk also reduced to 1 / 4 C instead of third. and you can always add a little extra powdered sugar if it still seems a bit nasal.
