Pour white wine on red wine stain – Can someone back up?
Just curious, and the possible preparation for future Can anyone tell me who really pour white wine in a red wine stain has actually done any good? Thanks to anyone that has actually worked?, I thought was complete crap, and have confirmed this. Why only pour more wine into a wine stain. Silly.
I can recommend something that works. Find a product called "Wine Away." I have grooves in the furniture, carpets, fabrics that need dry cleaning, and dry spots. All you need do is to spray it in and let sit. The stain will disappear by itself. It's big on holidays like the article of clothing need not be removed. The product is available in most places that sell wine, and not expensive.

Per University of California – Davis study on RED WINE STAIN REMOVAL: White Wine DOES NOT WORK.
Stain Rx is the best stain remover out there. I have been using it on red wine stains since 1969. Just touch it to red wine, iodine, berries (INCLUDING POMEGRANATE), fruit punch, cranberry juice, and the stains disappear in a second. Stains such as mascara, lipstick, blood, balsamic vinegar, vanilla extract and others come out with a little massaging and rinsing. Soak your diamond, gold and platinum jewelry in it for 20 minutes to overnight, you won’t believe it!
