Baristas HELP! I bought my first espresso machine, now what? What are the additional accessories I need?
I just purchased my first espresso machine is "BCO130T combination of laser DeLonghi. Do I get a mill grain? Also, I would get a pitcher of foam and a thermometer, do I really need this? I was also looking to gain some of the coffee pods espresso. I know I do not know so well, but will be great for the mornings when I'm in trouble! Pods say that your machine has to be designed to accept "ESE" coffee pods. I was watching the online manual of the machine and could not find this place. Is there anything else I need? Oh and by the way, usually drink coffee with milk and stuff. Thanks for your help in advance! = O)
Ok, I'm no barista, but I have an espresso machine. You could get a mill for espresso beans, or just buy it already ground. I do not use a thermometer, and it would be good, though not necessary. You need something to use steam / foam milk, although a specific foam launcher is not necessary. I use a ceramic cup. I've been told, or ceramic cups or Stainless steel works well. Note: keep this in the fridge, somehow helps with the formation of foam … I'm not sure why. Hope this helps.
